TrayTrack Terms of Service

By downloading or using TrayTrack app (Service or App), these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. You’re not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright and other intellectual property rights related to it, belong to RSApps Nordics OÜ.

RSApps Nordics OÜ (We) is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.

General Disclaimer

TrayTrack is a utility tool that is designed solely to assist users in tracking general aligner wearing habits and visualizing progress. It is not intended to provide any medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You must always check with your orthodontist or dental professional before making any aligner wear plan decisions.

Functionality and Accuracy

TrayTrack serves as a passive tracker and notification utility. We strive to provide timely reminders (push notifications) to switch trays or end timers. However, we cannot guarantee the delivery of notifications due to restrictions in mobile operating systems (e.g., battery optimization modes, Do Not Disturb settings) or device connectivity issues.

The accuracy of the progress tracking depends entirely on the data you enter. We are not responsible for errors in tracking resulting from forgotten entries or incorrect timer usage.

TrayTrack is built local-first and all the data stays on-device. We don’t have access to any of your data so full privacy is guaranteed. Users with Apple devices have the ability to backup their data using iCloud. This means that the data will only move between your device and Apple servers (securely, encrypted) when the feature is enabled.

Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use our Service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive activity. For example, you may not:

• Engage in any conduct that may harm or disrupt our Service, or other users;
• Modify, copy, lease, sell or distribute any of our Service;
• Interfere with or disrupt our Service, including circumvent any rate limits or restrictions or bypass any protective measures or safety mitigations we put on our Service;
• Use our Service in a way that infringes, misappropriates or violates anyone’s rights;
• Use our Service for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities;
• Attempt to or assist anyone to reverse engineer, decompile or discover the source code or underlying components of our Service;
• Use any automated means, such as bots or scrapers, to access, collect, or use information from our Service;

Trademark Disclaimer

TrayTrack is an independent utility application developed by RSApps Nordics OÜ. It is not endorsed, sponsored by, affiliated, or associated with any of the dental aligner manufacturers referenced within the App.

Brand names appearing in the App, including Invisalign®, Spark®, ClearCorrect®, SureSmile®, 3M Clarity®, and Angel Aligner®, are registered trademarks of their respective owners.

We use these names solely for identification purposes to allow users to select their specific aligner brand. Reference to any products, services, or other information by trade name, trademark, or manufacturer does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation.

Research Sources

The app may present educational statistics, or motivational statements (e.g., the correlation between daily wear time and aligner journey duration).

These statements are provided for general informational purposes only and are based on aggregate data from peer-reviewed scientific studies. They are not a guarantee of your specific aligner journey results and are never represented as advice.

Research Citations: Statements regarding the impact of wear-time compliance on treatment timelines are supported by published research, including but not limited to:

• “Effect of electronic reminders on patients’ compliance during clear aligner treatment: an interrupted time series study” published in Nature Scientific Reports (2022). Read the study.

Termination

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate your access to our App or Services, without notice and liability, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE TRAYTRACK APP AND THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS”, “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND THAT YOUR USE OF THE APP AND THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. RSAPPS NORDICS OÜ DOES NOT WARRANT: (I) THAT THE APPLICATION OR THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, (II) THAT THE APPLICATION OR THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (III) THAT THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (IV) THAT THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL THAT YOU PURCHASE OR OBTAIN THROUGH THE APPLICATION OR THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, OR (V) THAT ANY ERRORS IN THE APPLICATION OR THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED. OUR AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, LICENSORS, AND DISTRIBUTORS ARE INTENDED THIRD PARTY BENEFICIARIES OF THIS SECTION.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or due to technical issues without prior notice. We can’t guarantee that the app will always function as intended.

RSApps Nordics OÜ is not liable for data loss caused by user error or technical issues or for any business interruptions or losses due to service downtime.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Core functionality of the app is free to use, but some features of the App may require a paid subscription (“Plus”). Subscriptions are managed directly by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not store your credit card information.

You must cancel your subscription through your device settings before the renewal date to avoid being charged. Refund requests are handled by the respective App Store in accordance with their policies.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental consent to use the Service.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
