TrayTrack Privacy Policy

RSApps Nordics OÜ (We) built TrayTrack (Service or App) as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by RSApps Nordics OÜ and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use the Service.

If you choose to use the Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information You Provide: We collect Personal Information when you use our services:

• Purchase Information: If you make purchases through the iOS or Android App Stores, we collect transactional data. This is used to manage billing and account services.

Personal Information We Receive Automatically From Your Use of the Service: When you visit, use, or interact with the Service, we receive the following information about your visit, use, or interactions:

• Log Data: Information that your browser or device automatically sends when you use our Service. Log data includes your IP address, device type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interact with our Service.
• Usage Data: We may automatically collect information about your use of the Service, such as the types of content that you view or engage with, the features you use and the actions you take, as well as your time zone, country, the dates and times of access, user agent and version, type of computer or mobile device, and your computer connection.

• Analytics: We may use a variety of online analytics products that use cookies to help us analyze how users use our Service and enhance your experience when you use the Service.

Data We Do Not Collect

To be perfectly clear, we do not have access to:

• Your Identity: We do not know who you are.
• Your Progress Photos: Images taken within the app are stored in your device’s local application sandbox or iCloud storage. We cannot see, view, or export your photos in any way.
• Your Tracking Schedule: Your tracking logs, notes, goal settings, and tray changes are stored locally on your device or iCloud storage.

How Your Data is Stored and Synced (iCloud)

All data you generate (timers, logs, notes, photos) is stored locally on your device.

iCloud Backup & Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your Apple device and in TrayTrack app settings, Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Store and CloudKit will be used to sync your data between your own devices (e.g., syncing between your iPhone and iPad).

• This data is encrypted by Apple.
• We (RSApps Nordics OÜ) cannot decrypt or access this data.
• You manage this storage via your Apple ID settings.

How We Use Personal Information

Since we do not collect personal profiles, our data usage is limited to anonymous analytics and app functionality. We use this data for the following specific purposes:

• To provide the Service: Processing purchases and unlocking “Plus” features (via RevenueCat).
• To maintain Stability: Identifying crashes and fixing bugs (via Sentry).
• To improve the Service: Analyzing which features are used most frequently to guide future development (via PostHog).
• Customer Support: If you explicitly email us for support, we use your email address solely to reply to your inquiry.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or medical research.

Third-Party Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services, or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Device Permissions

To function as a utility, TrayTrack requires access to certain device features. These permissions are used locally and are not used to transmit personal data to us.

• Camera: Required to take progress photos of your teeth. Images are fully processed and only stored on your device(s).
• Photo Library: Required if you wish to save progress photos to your camera roll or import existing ones.
• Notifications: Required to send you local reminders to switch trays or stop a timer. These notifications are scheduled on your device; they are not sent from a remote server.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Disclaimer

TrayTrack is strictly a software utility tool. The data you enter (wear time, tray numbers) is processed exclusively on your device for the purpose of personal tracking. We do not analyze your data for any medical diagnostics, treatment planning, or research.

Children’s Privacy

This Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.

Business Transfers

In the event that RSApps Nordics OÜ is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, the ownership of the App may be transferred. However, since your personal data (photos, logs) resides solely on your device or personal iCloud, it remains under your control and is not “sold” or transferred to the new owner’s servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post an updated version on this page and update the effective date below.
